Never vote for a Republican at any level of government.
The problem here is that we don’t know that the GJ *did* return a true bill on original counts 2 and 3. The original indictment isn’t clear and the second one wasn’t shown to the entire GJ. And the testimony of the foreperson muddles the picture even more.

It’s standard practice for a lawyer to draft an affidavit, but that lawyer better make sure that the witness has personal knowledge of what’s written in the affidavit.

Seems to me that the question is whether the indictment is a legal nullity. If it is, then the indictment has to be dismissed with prejudice under the statute of limitations.

Fire every worthless DC Dem consultant into the sun and give me someone who will say “these are my beliefs and if you don’t like them, vote for someone else.”
