The thing that's always frustrated the right wing ideologues who've glommed onto Trump is that he doesn't have the attention span to actually be a committed ideological warrior. He can scream all the right culture war shit, but it's just WWE pugilistic showmanship. He basically has no belief system.
Trump frickin' loves this guy lmao

In other words, Judge Oldham has a sock puppet account on Bluesky, and Judge Oldham definitely searches for his name on Bluesky, which means that Judge Oldham will see your posts about him on Bluesky.

So definitely don't call Judge Oldham a Trumpian hack judge on Bluesky.
No matter how too-online you are, you are nowhere near as too-online as Republican federal appointees, judicial and executive.
Judge Oldham's call for the end of certifying questions from CA5 to state Supreme Courts includes this somewhat inexplicable shot at this here website.

This sums it up well.
So an invalidly appointed prosecutor brough an unvoted indictment, based on evidence violating the 4th amendment, attorney client privilege, and the 5th amendment. Against "false claims" that were literally true, all on direct order of a vindictive president?

Is this the most dismissable case ever?
NEWS: During a hearing in federal court in VA, prosecutors confirmed that the operative indictment in the case against James Comey was never shown to or voted on by the entire grand jury before it was presented in open court.

Defense counsel argued that’s a complete bar to further prosecution

I would say it slightly differently. Voters want someone who unflinchingly stands for his/her beliefs, even if some of those beliefs are unpopular.

GWB was the second worst president of my lifetime, and I never voted for him, but I respected that he stood for his beliefs when they were unpopular.
to be clear, i also do not think it is necessarily true that adopting a laundry list of progressive positions is an instant win either. i think you have to do the work of discovering what it is that voters want in a direct and engaged way. and i think that voters want moral leadership.
it is almost as if accommodating and conceding to far right ideas legitimizes them and signals to voters that the far right is a legitimate choice for governance

A grim comedic aspect of Mag Judge Fitzpatrick's ruling in Comey's case, finding that Halligan "potentially undermine[d] the integrity of the grand jury" with "fundamental misstatements of the law," is that AG Bondi purported to review those minutes & to ratify everything Halligan did—twice.

This. Too many people are glossing over the “legally entitled to” phrase in his tweet.
Coons on Epstein files: "My hunch is that AG Bondi, having just been ordered on social media by the president to open an investigation into a series of high-profile Dems, will promptly say, 'No, there's an ongoing investigation, we can't disclose any of this,' and the president will back that up."

JFC. Even someone pretending to be a journalist, like Brennan, should be supremely embarrassed to ask this question.
Margaret Brennan to Tom Suozzi: "Can you explain the focus this past week in the House by Democrats on the Jeffrey Epstein files? Is this a tactic to distract from the failure to extract healthcare changes?"

Let's start calling it the "Trump Murder Memo."

#TrumpMurderMemo
It is interesting to me how the media seems far less interested in Trump's Murder Memo than you'd expect. Only a few reporters seem to be even trying to get a hold of it, and very few commentators are talking about it. Contrast that with Bush's torture memo, which was a national obsession. Weird.
Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/
