Some more (relatively) straight painted lines painted on a comic book storage box

When I croak I hope the people who go through my estate are people who appreciate this kind of stupid stuff. "it probably took him hours to paint all these shapes on the side of box nobody would ever see."

CORRECT! IT TOOK HOURS

I left an asymmetrical flap on this lid, then I painted a blue lightning bolt thing on it.

I don't know why it took me literal DECADES to realize I can just make my own comic box lids out of whatever cardboard is around. Bonus: you can paint them too. This lid looks kinda like Knight Rider.

I just re-read this today! It was a staple of both kids' bedtime story libraries. There's probably at least three different copies kicking around in here. A+

Today I learned a lot of things.

I learned a THANOS annual from 2014 by Jim Starlin and Ron Lim exists.

Also I learned that I own it. It was in a box with MARVEL TEAM-UP #55 and THE INFINITY ENTITY (a series I technically knew *existed* but I can't remember reading or buying.)

Office wall.

If you're in a home office and see this wall, you're in my office.

Also my dogs will be asking you for food. Or killing you. Or killing you by asking for food so loudly your ear holes expand until your skull breaks.

Clipping from the 90s COMIC SHOP NEWS announcing DEATH'S HEAD II.

I glued it to a longbox ~40 years ago and yesterday it fell off.

They take so long to read because I constantly have to stop and ask: "what the hell am I looking at?" Grotesque but not repulsive, confrontational but not hostile, Kevin O'Neill makes my brain turn inside-out. (In a good way.)

Two new (to me) volumes! Is... there such a thing as "too much NEMESIS THE WARLOCK"?

Well I guess that's the end of Bluesky
