Our last podostemum survey of the season has wrapped up & we're happy to report that we've found several patches in the Delaware River south of the Lehigh River confluence. It's a remarkable find since the plant has not been sighted in this part of the for over a 150 years. Thanks to our volunteers!

Despite being cancelled in 2020, the Constitution Pipeline Project is once again a possibility due to the pro-fossil fuel intentions of the federal administration. Remind NYSDEC officials why Constitution Pipeline is still a no go in 2025.

Our 1st expedition searching for the lost podostemum plant is underway! The plant is very sensitive to water quality & grows in fast flowing waters on rocky, stable substrates. Documenting its return is important to understanding our changing River conditions.

It's now official. As an update to our previous post, we're happy to say that a judge has signed off on our Joint Motion for Stipulated Judgement with the EPA. The EPA is now in a legally binding agreement to publish their new water quality standards by September 22nd.

We are in the final stages of getting better water quality protections in the Delaware River which will help our endangered Atlantic Sturgeon and other aquatic life in the River! DRN and the EPA just reached an agreement, that EPA will publish these rules by 9/22/2025!
