ICE was established in 2003. It's not needed for the safety of the country. We have a military and police force for that. ICE can absolutely be defunded and abolished, without any harm to the nation's safety.

These aren't mutually exclusive. You can work towards the Dems gaining back Congress while demanding they abolish ICE.
