There is no force of evil. Evil is entropy. The natural pathway of a system.
Good is force. Good is the energy that must be continually applied to a system to stave off entropy.
Thinking of Pope Francis this morning. Internalizing his words, translating them into my personal paradigm.
Besides the point, this graphic irritates me. The whole is 28 columns by 36 rows, which equals 1008 dots. Not intuitive at all. So I had to verify the %s. 33 X 28 + 22 = 946. ÷ 1008 = 93.85%
28 + 28 + 2 = 58. ÷ 1008 = 5.75%
93.85 + 5.75 = 99.6
Yeesh! OK, but still irritating.
One of the most lopsided results you'll ever see in a poll, from our weekend Washington Post poll www.washingtonpost.com/politics/int...

Why do our phones even show us telephone numbers anymore? It's not as if we dial or punch numbers. We tell it a name, and it makes the connection, like in the switchboard days. Or how about party-lines, where you rang a certain combination of shorts and longs so the right house would pick up. 😉

Assorted folks complaining about the lack of productivity in the House. Careful. They want to dismantle Congress and not replace it with any sort of representation.
If you must, complain alongside examples of excellent representation. We do not want to lose it.
References galore in history.

My annual hike through Devils Kitchen. It's a collapsed cave. Received many affirmations today. One from a beautiful hawk.

Consider: there is no time.
People say, "You can only live in the present." So profound. But without time, you can live your life. All of it.
Relish your memories or rebound from them. Wax in your dreams and goals or worry. And yes, live in the present. The knife edge between.
It's all yours.

Today is the 34th anniversary of my daughter's birth. 10 birthdays without her brother, my son. I feel profound grief because he was the one other person in the world who loved her as I do. He was the ONLY person who connected with her. I love her... He loved her... She knows.

You know the feeling of weightlessness when your car flies over a small hill in the road? We know we're not really weightless, but it feels real for a second.
That's what the passage of time is like. There is no actual time. Just a momentary feeling.

Had a thought about the dismal inevitably of Tr appearing on the string of presidents in the classroom. His image could remain black and white, perhaps sepia, maybe a few defects scattered in the images.

A memory comes to the forefront... customer commented,"You're looking great. What's your secret? (for weight loss)" My reply, "Starvation." She was not amused. I was a single mother who ate 2 or 3 bites while cooking, so I could feed every precious morsel to my children.

Triumvirate. Putting it out there. A Dem, a Repub, and a person to represent the 98% of the rest of us.

Time to remind about what ultimate narcissism means. The world revolves around me. Therefore, when I go, every living thing must also cease to exist.
Plan is being executed.

My god, we're living in a rerun of the nineteenth century.

I'm listening to two men discussing the power and intrigue of consciousness. Men worth listening to. They are full of wonder, considering the possibilities. It's so cute. Women have had this knowledge and power for millennia. At the same time, it is encouraging

Some of our families have lived 10 generations on this land without tyranny, some more, some less. Today I am inspired by all citizens of this land whose knee-jerk reaction is to belittle, confront, laugh in the face of current would-be tyrants.

What the actual Fuck. I feel helpless to defy.
The president of the United States just declared war, actual military war, not a metaphorical one, on a major American city, and one governed by his political opponents.

In any other period, this would be impeachment-worthy.

Forgive me if this proposal is posted elsewhere. The governor of Illinois should call up the state's national guard to protect its citizens from aggression from troops federalized by the president.
This is some straight-up Civil War bullshit!
