Unfortunately I think the trust is already destroyed. Trump’s actions this past six weeks or so will change geopolitics forever.

The only time I’ve ever been subjected to secondary security screening at the gate is when I’m flying to the US. It happens routinely in Buenos Aires, and they used to do it in London too (although I’ve not flown from there in a long time). TSA are generally, in my experience, rude and incompetent
