Hello there! If you found my profile (likely after I posted a pedantic correction) then I hope you are having a fantastic day! If not, then I still hope you have a good time!
And if you are one of a few people (they know who they are, likely not you) then I sincerely wish you a bad time.
"Hey, have you seen Dr strangelove?"

It's always no. Most people I know haven't seen it. Huge thanks to my parents for showing me it, because it's brilliant. Old comedy films are fantastic, and so are modern, but old ones have a certain kind of vibe to them that's just amazing.

Being non American and behind on the news is strange, because I've suddenly seen a lot about "Seahawks" and "the bowl" and "the game" out of nowhere. What does this all mean?

Using blue sky to talk online has been a lot better than YouTube comments sections haha. Everyone here is generally chill and agreeable, even if they have different viewpoints. On YouTube barely anybody responded to my debates, or if they did, they simply refused to consider my points. 1/2

Sports cars make no sense to me. You spend 4 times the price of an expensive house to get a different design, shiny badge and the ability to go 100Mph fas- oh wait nevermind the speed limit is 60 max. So... Why did you buy the car? You can't even use a large chunk of the price!

Force us to update and then complain we shouldn't have that update. How about you be more like Linux, and just let people update when they want?

SSDs are not magnetic and as long as they remain powered, can store data for a very long time. Cassette tapes can store data even longer, but they can be more prone to magnetic damage (I heard). Data storage has advanced a lot, and it keeps getting better.
Wave a magnet over iron shavings and they will move. Is the pattern they form permanent for all time? No.

Saving items on computers is closer to moving iron shavings than putting pen to paper. You're trusting magnetic forces. Whether wedding photos or DNA, you need a plan to keep the data around.
