Last season, Zets got pelters for his infuriatingly random kicking, but even that has improved this season. He's settled into his work really well.

I was really pleased to see Jacob Widell Zetterstrom get a nomination for Championship player of the month. Certainly when measured by the advanced goalkeeping metric "PSxG - GA"*, he's up there with the best keepers in the division this season.

Erik Pieters - listed by Wiki as a 'free agent', but is surely finished at the age of 37 after a few short-term spells as a cover defender for Championship clubs. Played one minute for #dcfc, against Stoke on the final day of last season.

The Lewis O'Brien tackle was vile. It was one of two things, a) recklessly out of control, or b) deliberate violent conduct.
Either way, it's a blatant red card, and the referee has absolutely no excuse for not giving it. What part of it didn't he see?

Based on expected goal difference, #dcfc would currently be bottom of the table, with a bullet.
Both in attack and defence, there's plenty for Eustace to ponder.

Realised today that I'd only previously read half of Ryan Hills' Groundwork, so am rectifying that today (all part of the research for my next book 📚).
It's such a page-turner. Helps that this was the headiest, most glorious #dcfc period of my lifetime. So far!

Realised today that I'd only previously read half of Ryan Hills' Groundwork, so am rectifying that today (all part of the research for my next book 📚).
It's such a page-turner. Helps that this was the headiest, most glorious #dcfc period of my lifetime. So far!

This is a genuinely embarrassing line for Ismael and Blackburn to take. Maybe if Rovers wasn't such a dysfunctional binfire of a club, then this wouldn't have happened?

The current Walk of Fame list is dominated by white players and managers. A good way for #dcfc to respond to this furore would be to ensure that, when it's expanded, the group of Rams heroes who are added is much more diverse. It's not as if we haven't had loads of brilliant black players, after all

Deepening sense of injury crisis for John Eustace to deal with - he badly needs some first-teamers back, and some new signings too.
