I see it happened in 2009, I wonder if centralised govt procurement contracts not sanctioned by military had a part to play. I'd have thought some form of clawback on not fit for purpose would have kicked in. Centralised procurement failed in a number of fields about that time.Really curious to know

As ever with him, when he mentions his intent, he's usually truthful, no matter how outlandish and disgusting that intent is. Yet still people explain it away " oh he doesn't mean that". Yes he does. Always. By all means poke fun at him, but take his intent seriously and plan accordingly.

His attitude appears a bit odd, to say the least, but I speak as someone with little knowledge of all the ins, outs and nuances. I'm certainly no expert in this field, so I hope I'm simply not seeing everything.

Very true, that would mitigate against the tantrum. (Unless he does it by accident 😒, - a bit tongue in cheek by me here, but not beyond possibility)

Well, either that or you'd have one absolute hell of a nightmare that you'd never recover from.... Cuchulainn in his berserker mode, or some Lovecraftian horror. Tanks but no tanks, shivers down me spine!

..stationed currently! He's very likely to simply pull them all out in a tantrum.
