Huge amount of naval and aircraft activity around the ship today (which is now in Icelandic EEZ). Unconfirmed video shows US special forces helicopter approaching the vessel from a Coastguard cutter. The ship has also abrutly changed course in the last hour. It may already have been seized.
Two more US naval aircraft flew over Irish airspace on surveillance missions in the Atlantic. One just off the tip of Donegal. Another over the centre of the country (taking in Doonbeg along the way). Simon Harris says he "imagines" rules were followed
