I'm currently on a cycling adventure holiday in Britanny France. It's interesting. I try in my limited French to learn about things and to observe. They want calm but this is a country of very open differences. Yet 80pc of all passengers on Britanny Ferries are Brits. So we cannot be all that bad.

Big congrats to Middlesex Women's Cricket on winning the T20 final and big applause to commentator on indicating the diff between them and Yorks and also to the other players including Lauren and Layla in his list of Middx players who have played or are part of the set up.

Just looking at the nvplay results over the last few days and especially for women from the local club and found Hampshire 2s won against Surrey 2s at the Bowl Nursery ground in the Women's Development 40 over comp and realised that maybe someone has a sense of humour. WD40.

Media sources have put out some noises as the Air India 171 Interim Report has been published. I have just watched this to get a fair and objective view of what has been published. My deduction is that automation taking away the decision making of the pilots leads to cost certification.

Daughter played for the club's Women's 2s yesterday. On her return she said that she enjoyed it, but was her typically argumentative, going to tell those that need to hear it, going to play next week, self (but will it endure) and will coach the 2s and talking about pathway and having fun.

When people get arrested because they *peacefully* protest against the genocide in Gaza we have a serious problem. This is happening today in both the UK and Germany. Even this 83 year old priest got arrested today for holding up a sign.

Sport - Cycling the Women's Tour of Britain is seemingly being screened by TNT Sports, BUT it is also on FTA BBC including online and their feed is also being used for live coverage on YT under the Lloyds Tour of Britain channel. The final stage around Glasgow is tomorrow.

@nickwebb2017.bsky.social not a good day for Northants. Their Women lost at home to Leicestershire in the T20 Cup and that is a bit of an upset IMO. Unfortunately the Glamorgan Women were humbled at Christ Coll, Brecon by Lancashire who had a certain Ecclestone playing for them but not Kate Cross.

Just seen Leicestershire Foxes Women beat Northants. That is possibly a bit of a turn up but it goes to show that both League 2 counties and the T20 format can turn up some events. The score is temporarily not available but I think that Northants were missing at least one key player - 2nd XI Blaze?
