Hi build primer on! That stuff was thick! My 1.4 tipped spray gun was having issues. Next time, I'll opt for the 1.7 tip. Did an 800 grit smoothing today. This job wouldn't be complete without struggles. Sander decided to shed its mortal coil with a bedside and tailgate still to go, so that tracks.

The #Jeep Grand Wagoneer's tailgate doubles as a potting bench at the perfect height. Beautiful weekend to do some garden prep. Golden Jubilee tomatoes, Old German tomatoes, Jalapeno peppers, assorted herbs, and marigolds.

It's been a minute since I've posted an update on my grandfather's truck. New cab corners welded in. For some reason, even garage queens seem to get the cab corner rot. It happens from the inside out. My guess is trapped condensation causes it. And of course, pics didn't load in order.

Some rust repair on the bed for grandfather's OBS Scottsdale. Minimal rust still means you have to buy maximum sized repair panel for the wheel arch. Dremel cutoff tools are my weapon of choice for these tiny, surgical incisions.

More progress pics on my grandfather's 88 Scottsdale. My nephew was driving it through the field at my mom's place and ended up misjudging the location of a tree stump last year, so there was one dent to work out. First time ever using a stud welder. Pretty happy with the results.
