I wrote a short spy story once, where they infiltrated a place by yoinking a vest and clipboard from the changing room, then went around writing down the location and 'last changed' date on all the fire extinguishers, in case anyone asked, as an excuse to explore the facility.

I have, on multiple occasions, walked around on guard duty humming music from the Metal Gear games, or spent the entire time chatting with my fireteam partner.

The clipboard is also very effective. It pairs nicely with a slightly ratty reflective vest, and an 'inspector' helmet.

Of course, things like the Ars Goetia and other documents tend to disagree with one another and just... Make shit up based on the author's demon OCs... But enough of them have hinted at deeper democratic processes I assume it was an attempt to vilify democracy and support the Divine Right of Kings.

Considering that, canonically, Gehenna (hell) is at least partly democratic, I think they would also be annoyed.
Though they're not the most authoritative canon sources, most prominent demon lords hold titles and acolytes marking them as members of a senate, in addition to royal titles like duke.
