Going to a sports bar is 20% talking with friends and enjoying your order and 80% looking at the randoms screaming at a TV because the man in the other jersey kicked/threw the ball too good.

Not wanting to do something doesn't make it unfeasible, and this is assuming Hurst doesn't want to work out for a character role known to be physically fit.
Chris Pratt didn't have to lose weight to be Starlord, but he chose to do so because he wanted to do the character justice.

Exactly. While there's something to be said about longterm health risks of drastically changing physique for certain roles, Ryan's typically maintained a muscular physique, and while Kratos has indeed had a larger build, it's really more about the athleticism over pure bulk with the character.

Because as we all know, actors can never realistically bulk up, slim down or gain weight to fulfill a role they've taken on, nor have the studios been able to touch up physiques either digitally or by practical body suits...

Like, literally, some ad agent said: "Hey, our lowest rung of the ladder, the one's who struggle to pay bills every paycheck... Let's make them seem like they fucking love it here! Glue a smile to their face and have them dance and be quirky at the fact consumers are shopping!"
Fucking insane.
