My primary problem with a lot of modern fantasy anime is that they gamify it to a degree that it doesn't feel like a real world. Is that a problem with this series?

I heard that, but to me it's one of those net losses that are worth it in the long run.
1. If they give some warmth then it is not worth the hassle over underwear or socks.
And 2. Do you really want to say to a person who put on some underwear or socks to take them off and try to resell them?
