The story establishes that AFO has basically been leeching off everything around him including his younger twin, and later we see Yoichi's light blown out in a scene where it almost seems like AFO "stole it", symbolizing the remaining faith that he had being "stolen" as we see a glowing AFO descend

it really only softens up once we start seeing more of Yoichi's side and him still holding on to the innocent faith that his brother still having some kindness left in him

i do not wanna redo this thread but i meant to say sense of security, not hopes here lol

most people have rightfully been praising the sick action setpieces and while i really enjoyed those, this is what really stood out to me and is the kind of thing that'll stick with me in the long run
