That's great!

Otherwise, please never pull some bs like this again. Once was already too much:

Not within reach, but the most beautiful private conservatory I've ever seen, at the "Karmanos Complex" (his house)

The sky view gives an idea of scale, but the ground view is reminiscent of the belle isle conservatory

When I first saw his post about 2 hours ago, he was only showing the "20+ blocks" tag.

By the time I made it through the comments and reloaded, he had a new tag

I've now got it hooked back up to a local smart relay. Look at how wide the swing is with the humidistat: around 8-10%

Within my automation I set a 4% swing/deadband centered on the target of 40%. This gives me a much more consistent humidity across the house as a result!

Since I have Home Assistant running locally, with local outside temps/humidity and indoor sensors around the house, I go with a dry contact relay to take the place of my humidistat.

The benefit is that I get an average across the entire house, instead of just the humidity at the return.

No, that's an suv too.

Take a car, then extend the roof lines horizontally to the rear bumper to enclose the trunk/boot in the cabin. That's a wagon

Volvo v90 as newer example:

Because graphs are fun and informative, here is what co2 looks like in my home over the past 48 hours, with sensors in both the kitchen and a bedroom. *This is without an ERV as it's yet to be installed*

A full detailed description is in the alt text

Might be time better spent to go and protest somewhere that that is actually happening

It was only supposed to be a 20min drive from my favorite pizza place in northern Michigan to a family cabin.

GPS instead took me down an ATV trail through a State forest, where I subsequently got a flat tire on the 1 day I neglected to bring my tire change tools.

There's only one way to get this tag... and it requires a whole lotta this

Ya it's always blown my mind that anything bordering lake michigan is an "international border"

...Which leaves Michigan pretty fucked as related to border patrol jurisdiction

What a nice night in Windsor! Dinner, and then the Walkerville Night Market.

Thanks to @grenadine.bsky.social for sharing the @windsornewstoday.bsky.social post about the market. Perfect timing as i already had the dinner reservations!

Is gardening worth it? Depends on what you value.

If it's money, the answer is a hard no.

I find it quite rewarding.
