Check if your earbuds are on this list. If they are, update with the device app / software to protect against this new attack vulnerability

The first buddy I texted has some on the list. Most people don't check for firmware updates or even know they exist

If we're going to build these things, I want it in writing that the companies will also build renewable infrastructure within the same grid/region that matches or exceeds their energy consumption.

Heads up!

As of March 2026, DTE will begin charging $2.99 per transaction for accounts paid with a credit card.

Best to avoid that if possible

People must be real assholes at Costco gas pumps because I did a very simple and seemingly regular thing and I had both the attendant and another customer go out of their way to thank me for my "courtesy."

Probably the same people who don't return their carts

@thewaroncars.bsky.social this dude you reposted is so car-brained that this is how he responds to "trains and walkable cities would make everyone safer"
What the fuck are you talking about? Waymo’s accident data is that they’re like 85% safer than human drivers, we should absolutely be replacing human drivers with computers with LIDAR in addition to everything else

Silver is over $60 an ounce today.

Just heard from a buddy of mine that he found a buyer for his pre-1964 coins, which have a face value of $400... selling for $16,000 👀

Have you been picking out the silver coins from your change dish?

Someone had said something like "at least ICE hasn't been too active in Michigan yet."

They've been active this entire time, it just isn't part of the DHS media blitz so it doesn't get the same kind of coverage.

Another example of someone "doing it the right way" getting swept up in this nonsense:

On the flip side, I've yet to travel to anywhere else that feels more like home than New Orleans.
I always forget how much I like Detroit and how much Detroit likes me! Without fail, I meet the best people here. Reminds me of New Orleans.

Fond memories... but it's been sitting abandoned long enough

It was only supposed to be a 20min drive from my favorite pizza place in northern Michigan to a family cabin.

GPS instead took me down an ATV trail through a State forest, where I subsequently got a flat tire on the 1 day I neglected to bring my tire change tools.

I feel seen
Keep getting honked at and then spending a long time trying to figure out what I did wrong but perhaps it's the "KEEP HONKING I ALSO AM A GOOSE PRETENDING TO BE HUMAN" bumper sticker doing the job it was made to do.
