🧵 A coalition of labor unions, health care providers, schools, and religious organizations filed suit today to stop President Trump’s latest anti-immigration power grab: a sweeping executive action that slaps an unlawful new $100,000 price tag on every new H-1B application.

BREAKING: We’re suing to stop President Trump’s latest anti-immigration stunt that slapped a $100,000 price tag on every H-1B visa application.

This innovation ban has thrown U.S. employers that rely on H-1B to hire engineers, teachers, and doctors into chaos. This abuse of power must stop.

90 years ago, UAW Local 14 was founded on the simple but powerful belief that when working people stand together—when they insist on respect, fairness, and dignity—together we can move mountains. As a daughter of the UAW was happy to join them this week to honor that legacy of solidarity in NW Ohio.
