For a bit of joy, I finally started ordering parts and building out this bike I've had for the last two years. Spent a chunk of time talking to Karl at @perennialcycle.bsky.social, ordered parts, and got on the calendar for the first round.
Hope to have this beast ready by the spring!

Not one particular event but every time I was able to get on a bike this year was fantastic. Health stuff still has been wonky and I was grateful for every time I got to ride.

Traveling somewhere in a few days that has good transit and a good record shop, need to be able to carry some vinyl back home with me so time to swap backpacks.
