I started building out a new bike that I'd been sitting on for two years on Wednesday morning. Ironically a surly Wednesday

For a bit of joy, I finally started ordering parts and building out this bike I've had for the last two years. Spent a chunk of time talking to Karl at @perennialcycle.bsky.social, ordered parts, and got on the calendar for the first round.
Hope to have this beast ready by the spring!

On Android you can revoke contact permissions and this uses Signal display name only. Not sure on iOS but would assume similar.

Correct, if you have their contact in your phone, AND they have that phone number linked to Signal, your contact info supersedes their signal display name.
