He/him. I’m some guy from the Salt Lake valley that really likes fitness and dabbles in books and video games. I’m also an ICU nurse. Looking for ways to help out in the coming days of end-stage capitalism.

Every time windows update runs, I make sure that copilot remains uninstalled and that Recall isn’t running. The day that Microsoft unhackably forces me to sign into a Microsoft account is the day I finally switch to Linux on my desktop, and my laptop remains as an offline DAW.
I'm putting together a slide illustrating how generative AI is being forced on people even though they don't want it, and this is sort of funny.

Here's are Google's autocomplete suggestions for "google gemini how to", and Bing's autocomplete suggestions for for "microsoft copilot how to".

You know, With all these outbreaks and the fact that we probably won’t have a flu vax next year then I think I’m just gonna stock up on 3M 1860 N95s since I know I’m fit tested for them.

Let me debunk this rq bc you're def going to hear this junk again:

1) The Court installed Bush in 2000
2) Johnson (right libertarian) got 3x more votes than Stein in 2016
3)Biden is responsible for orders of magnitude more C19 harm to date

The system is the problem, not leftists/any voters tbh.
Great post! Leftists also f*cked everyone when they voted for Nader in 2000 and Stein/Sanders (write in) in in 2016! Leftists gave us Roberts/Alito/Gorsuch/Kav/ACB, the 2nd Iraq war, Great Recession, Dobbs, Citizens United, 1/6, Charlottesville, and dead bodies in refrigeration trucks during COVID.

Denial of existence is spiritual/historical violence on top of physical violence.

We only have conversations about trans people somehow being brand new because they burn books & erase stories that show otherwise.

Fight for someone with an identity you don't share today. Solidarity or extinction.
evidence to prove to myself that it wasn't all in my head. evidence to prove to all of the people who told me it was fake that no, it's right here, I can see it clearly. *I* know it's real. but some people won't believe me unless I show them undeniable amounts of proof.

They really need the rest of the data in this study to help them properly compartmentalize their racism. Otherwise they are going to glitch. They can’t handle their own cognitive dissonance, the extinction burst this country is experiencing is evidence enough for that.

What kind of society exsits without a free press, unrestrained by oligarchs, willing to hold elected officials to account, and powered by the interests of ordinary citizens? Humanity is a story of relations of power, speaking truth to those who hold it is essential.

Raskin: "Yesterday, Donald Trump banned the Associated Press, a 179-year-old newspaper organization, from the White House because it declines to call the Gulf of Mexico the "Gulf of America." This is straight up press censorship based on retaliatory viewpoint discrimination."

Most of us agree at this point that the system is the problem, but it when it comes to the parts of the system we enjoy, all of a sudden we simply don't see it. We will call everything a distraction except for literal, intentional distractions like the Super Bowl and the Oscars and the Grammys MIMS

Boycotting major league sports is one of the simplest ways to materially fight one of the biggest financial power bases of the vulture class. Owners in the NFL, MLB, Etc have contributed millions to get us into the mess we're in now. That money came out of your pocket, which should enrage you.

Hate me but hear me: there are literally zero ways you can do a genuinely revolutionary act as a headliner at the Super Bowl - not within the law, at least.

It's difficult to wrap your head around the enormous atrocity the Trump administration is committing *right now* -> 1,500 babies getting HIV each day.

All to score some political points. God, this is sickening.
AMFAR has published a report on how the foreign aid freeze affects PEPFAR, which actually still hasn't resumed.

They estimate that hundreds of thousands of people lose access to HIV antivirals and 1500 babies are expected to contract HIV — *each day* 🧵

Who knew Biden could have just stormed into the White House, handed a friendly billionaire the keys to all the federal buildings, fired anyone who might have voted for Trump and imposed the Green New Deal, police, gun and voting reform and Roe v. Wade by force, without barely a peep from Congress.
