Being hopeful is not naive, it's necessary. This work is not about how much we hate capitalism, but about how much we love each other. It's about wanting better conditions for each other so badly that we're willing to dedicate at least some part of every single day to that outcome.

Show someone what is possible today. Give them some food or direct them to a place where they can find some. Hand them a mask and tell them you want them not to get sick this holiday season. Put up an informative sign in your neighborhood. Anything - just DO what you know needs to be done.

We can't skip straight from a thoroughly propagandized, complicit, indoctrinated populace to a militant revolutionary people without practical steps & hope. We can't only say what's wrong because that makes some just give up. Just calling out things, unfortunately, can be counter-revolutionary.

We need local affinity groups, not only for the work in the moment, but also to transition thru the power vacuum phase.
When you become known for being a reliable source for sharing information and resources, you will have defacto authority upon the critical moment.

Reducing folks to political labels provides no insight into how we can work with or deal with them in reality. Yes, liberals as a group lack action consistent with their stated morals. Yes, conservatives are callous followers. But what do we do about that? They exist and we need some of them 🤷🏾

Folks with great ideas & politics sometimes skip to the end goal without providing practical strategies for how we get there. Yes, we need complete liberation & an end to the system, absolutely. No, half measures will not work and voting ain't it.

They're demanding, among other things, sewage removal and heat and electricity restroration.

Yes, the meeting was weird to the point of being disconcerting. Something def feels off there. AND it was wild to watch 47 admit that the news says different things about Mamdani than he learned in discussion, thus proving he 100% has Fox uncle brain.

Lastly, the reason they are scraping everything with genAI is because in order to act on any info they DO somehow find, at some point it takes actual humans. Allowing in AI everywhere that can just feed them the info they're looking for makes impossible policing tasks possible. Refuse genAI always.
