I went to see The Amateur Transplants live years ago...
And yes, they were very sweary and very irreverent, but their writing was also incredibly clever!

Returning to the subject of childhood cinema...
One of the best things about being taken by a parent was the rare treat of being allowed a whole box* of sweets all to yourself!
Which, in my case, usually meant either Smarties or Fruit Pastilles.

In 2010* my old (aluminium) front door froze shut...
Didn't realise this had happened until I couldn't get out when my friend came to pick me up for work.
It ended up with me passing jugs of hot water through the window so that she could defrost me out! 😁
