I’m not a fan of this uptick in retooling fanfiction for publishing. Fanfic relies on an IP foundation and exists in conversation with other fics and readers. Stripped of that, what’s often left are hollow worlds and characters that lack the depth to fully interact with their settings.

One of my biggest pet peeves with modern gaming is that it feels like the second anything turns like at least 15-20 years old, gamers get scared and think it's bad and clunky and outdated and needs a remake or else it's unplayable. Like it's not that hard to play PS2 games guys

I'm gonna start a podcast where I read SCP articles. Not out loud. Just recording me at my computer reading silently, the occasional cough or muttering to myself. I think it'll be a hit. Really shake up the SCP podcast scene.
