Its the unrehearsed/talking off the cuff BS. They like unpreparedness. I guess they think it's not 'fake.' It's a really immature view of the world that people who do a job, prepare, and think before they speak are not authentic.

She was always suss and clearly violating journalistic ethics. But she got away with it b/c the guys at the table who wonder if women are ruining the workplace liked her. OR maybe worse, the guys in the workplace practice journalism the same way as she does. Either way? Bad for journalism and women.

The male loneliness epidemic (surveyed during pandemic!) seems overblown. There'a a lot of parity between women and men today in their average number of friends, but b/c men used to reported sooo many more, it's an issue?
