From the Nitpicker's Guide for Deep Space Nine Trekkers, published in 1996. The reviewer didn't think the state of the United States in 2024 as shown in the episode Past Tense, Part 1 was believable. Sounds like @roberthewittwolfe.bsky.social and Ira Steven Behr were pretty close....

Well that's Dragon Age: The Veilguard completed. I really enjoyed it. Have a couple of gripes, not least of which was a forced world state, but overall, it was excellent. Here's my OC Rook: veil jumper, mage, if anyone's interested. Dialog capture has #VeilguardSpoilers

It seems, for eldest son, adjusting the pendulum on a mechanical clock isn't a matter of trial and error. Found this left on the sofa. Since the clock is now accurate, I can only assume his calculations were correct.

Myself and eldest son finished DS9 and Discovery yesterday and today, respectively. He's yet to see TOS, TNG, VOY or ENT. I'm thinking ENT next. It'll be a stark contrast. Maybe then we'll do BSG and come back to the older series if he still fancies it.
