Jerry was my tutor in my third year ..his last year at UCL before he went to Oxford...he left the world far too early.

They have bought an enormous, real Christmas tree this year for their house in London and decorated it beautifully. Flats in Tokyo are so small they will only have a tiny tree when they go home

What I do know is they have a tradition of a Wish Tree ( though not necessarily at Christmas ) and we have copied the idea for celebrations of Christmas in our road
