I think they think -- and I don't think they're wrong -- that no one will miss this chain of reasoning: they have evidence, they are concealing that evidence, so the evidence disproves their claim. Their claim is that there was some non-murder-y reason to kill the survivors.

I say this after having drunk much eggnog and rum. Yes, I know it feels good. Also, I know that it kills. It is not a gift to the world. It is theft from the future.

Just an aside: Somebody went to a lot of trouble to coordinate the wardrobe, colors, props, and poses in that picture, but no one thought to turn on the TV?

I haven't read the article (I don't have access to it), but I find the "just" puzzling. I follow geology youtube more than the average person and a date for earliest life over 3 billion years ago is bandied about pretty casually, not as a recent discovery but as pretty well established.
