Saddest I’ve ever been in my life.Went to my closest neighborhood park, “the park I’ve been going to literally my entire life, always as a minority, white English speaker…a young Brown family wearily saw me approach with my mutt, thought twice, and immediately left once I sat. Fuck you Donald Trump.

This is the line to pick up an iPhone, even though I have an appointment Apple insisted on scheduling for me. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if it’s to sit in a line for an hour or longer? I just happened to break my old phone. Getting Android next time. Apple is going downhill.

Stop Laughing! Nothing is funny about a 79 year old man who wears bronzer with tiny hands who thinks he’s a sex symbol!

The reason MAGA sucks at comedy is it requires self awareness, a sense of irony, natural intelligence, and a capacity to find others as well as yourself ridiculous.

@jimmykimmel.com I think I can #boycottDisney now after Jimmy’s suspension. I’ll miss @jonathankarl.bsky.social and This Week w/ Stephanopoulus, but any Disney movie I really want I can pirate. I just need to identify what’s Disney that doesn’t bear the explicit Disney name.

They can fire Kimmel, Colbert, even Meyers and Jon Stewart—but nothing, nothing on God’s green earth will ever make Greg Gutfield funny. Nothing.

Contemplating how to transmit the latest #SouthPark episode to my 87 year old die hard Great Society loving social worker mother so her soul might receive some palliative retaliatory laughter suring this dark horizon in the twilight of her life.

Thoughts? Remember: 87. Simpler=better.

Strange how my home state has mandated the display of the ten commandments in every public school classroom, including 2nd commandment prohibiting idolatry, yet Texas’ most popular gas station chain by far—Buc-ees—has one of these in front of every location, bronzed to withstand the apocalypse…

We’re not a riotous city. How many Spurs championships? Five. How many post win cars set alight? Zero. Abbott didn’t even call Nuremberg to let him know the Guard was coming. This is all designed to provoke, humiliate and intimidate. Abbott is a scared, bitter little man.

The “riots” in SA consisted of maybe 500 folks (my lay rough estimate, enough to fill the intersection of Flores & Commerce and no more) peacefully, loudly protesting. Didn’t see one Molotov cocktail, nor burning vehicle. God knows what crimes occurred elsewhere in the city, as all SAPD was there….

Apparently “reestablishing the warrior culture” means stripping a veteran and civil rights hero’s name from a US Navy ship and throwing military parades for a draft dodging pussy who wears more makeup than a drag queen and has certainly never been in a fistfight with anyone more than half his size.

I’m thinking about buying a USED Tesla because I need a car and the brand is so damaged now I can probably get one at a hell of a discount. Alternatively I could get a small gasoline car made by a company whose CEO doesn’t starve kids and give Nazi salutes. Which choice makes me the better liberal?

“Wow never saw this Musk / Trump implosion coming” said no one ever.

I was indignant hearing simply flying the Palestinian flag could get an unwilling British subject charged with supporting terrorism in a Western democracy, as most Americans are who’ve grown accustomed to 1st amendment protections. Then I remembered there ate no 1st amendment protections anymore.
This 👇🏻
When a young Irishman demands civil rights and an end to the killing, the British government will only ever see a terrorist.

The question nobody’s answering this week: Who was the 2022 popular Dem who was the obvious alternative to Biden we all got duped into overlooking?

I’ll wait.

(PS, if you picked Dean Phillips and you’re not from MN, you’re full of shit…)

Despite the Jake Tapper book coverage, Trump’s speech patterns freak me out more than anything Biden ever said. Biden forgot Clooney’s name. Ok. Trump gets an aderall/ dextroamphetamine twitch that makes him curl his tongue occasionally and slur. Have gotten it myself is how I recognize. Not Joe.

If the GOP are gonna pretend there’s nothing off about POTUS accepting a 400 million dollar jet, which will receive then 100s of millions of taxpayer dollars in modifications only to be “donated” to Trump Library in 2029, I never want to hear shit about the Clinton Foundation again. Or Barisma.

This.

Thanks for making my city and my country a better place Pop. You are puro SA.
Many coaches and athletes either don't care about politics or won't risk hurting their brand by speaking out.

Gregg Popovich is different.

He called Trump "pathetic" and "damaged" and a "racist liar."
He said he damaged our institutions and culture. He acknowledged that systemic racism exists.

Three Gs, for his triple dose of game.

I’m not a huge sports guy, but I admired Pop for always speaking his mind on social justice. It would have been easier to remain quiet, but he said what needed saying even if it had nothing to do with basketball, because it was the right thing to do. Respect.
Gregg Popovich. A living legend. One of the best to ever do it. Multiple championships. Gold medals. Defined an era.

Why does his first name have two Gs?
