Freedom of speech becomes a tricky proposition when the speech is like this. We have some soul-searching to do. I've heard it said, "I may not agree, but I would die for your right to say it." Met a guy today. I dropped my "I hate 47" routine. No reaction. I said, "At this point, anyone who makes excuses for him is a fu*king idiot, or a Notsee." I see a lot of people saying that a person charged with a crime deserves the chance to prove their innocence.

Please stop doing this because you have it backwards and this is really important.

It is ALWAYS the government's burden to prove a person guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

I left Texas in 2000. I've gone back to visit family, every year since. Watching a place I loved become a vessel for corruption and racism and hate made me angry. Republicans did it all. Greg Abbott is a horrible governor. The legislature is worse. I detest what my home state has become.

"Can't afford" energy credits, can afford €1.7 Billion on corporate tax breaks.

It's austerity in a time of plenty! The government sits on €20-25 Billion in rainy day funds, but the government refuses to invest any of it in infrastructure we desperately need.

Inside were her crib notes for attacking the senators.
