The lack of an edit function and the Twitter-like character limit makes promoting music all that much more difficult too, having to heavily cut down my content to fit here, and my uncanny ability to produce typos.

It’s been an interesting experiment and I’ve met some amazing people here, but after a year of posting and some five-and-a-half thousand followers, I’ve managed to attract some fifty streams. I guess there’s just not much of a music scene here on Bluesky.

Not closing my Bsky account or anything, but I will probably do a lot less cross posting. This account was opened to share jokes and promote #DgarMusic and while everyone seems to enjoy the stolen jokes and old memes, it’s failed to attract any significant engagement with my music.
