Heute vor 200 Jahren, am 9. Juli 1825, wurde der erste Stein für das heutige Alte Museum gelegt – der Auftakt zur Geschichte der Berliner Museumsinsel. Das visionäre Gebäude war das erste öffentliche Kunstmuseum Preußens. Die Sonderausstellung „Grundstein Antike“ knüpft an diese Geschichte an.
