I changed.

Oh my, I haven't logged into CotI in a long long time (I used to post there regularly, my last being sharing the design of a 4,000dt hospital ship)

Thank you

I imagine that is a possibility, but I can also see that crew space bulkheads would not be unlike the normal walls of an occupied building (or maybe all utilities are in the floor/ceiling) where there are outlets for convenience power, air supply ducts, water/waste piping.

Okay, for a facing, I get it. But Im thinking the depth of a bulkhead, the inside space, for conduits, atmospheric handling equipment, and the like.
Is 6 cm too generous or not enough.

Wait. Wait, I know this bit. This is the Robert Frost bit, right?

Both books are the same book, right?

Today, we will breach the hull of Ogre 23-Z16. We aim to discover what is still active within and if there is anything that can tell us why they stopped fighting.
Our team is a dozen of the best technicians in our camp.
We are not brave, but we are determined.

I think culture could be a factor, but Im trying to model a baseline. For example the very perplexing "Jeffery's Tube" of Star Trek.
What is this space taken up by the tubes? Does it occur in multiple places on each deck? Is there space between occupied spaces equal to the tube everywhere?
December 16, 2025 at 3:50 PM
Assuming the wall space will always include utility equipment, controlls, life support, pipe conduit cable.
Today a standard wall thickness of 10 or so cm is not uncommon but 15 is not rare and some industrial facilities have even greater.
Also, a ship exclusively in outer space.

So, assumptions
Standardized materials across the known universe would be metallic/carbon polymer let's say equivalent to steel, lighter easier to produce but still needs a nominal thickness on each facing wall (1 cm?). But it is the internal wall space Im curious about.

Will this one make it to @roll20.net ?

her before Arum Eve or the gate will open.

Your only clue to the whereabouts of the librarian is a note that reads.

"I've had to run. If you must search for me know my return is my heartbreak. Katherine's kiss can be mine no more."

Cylinders each carved with Runes and symbols you recognize as the Eight Question of Saint Brianne of Garn. Only one question can be placed in one receptacle on each of the days of The Arum but you cannot determine which cylinder goes in which receptacle. Only the librarian knows and you must find
