a lot of that magic is godot at work, here it is in hammer++. nice and unlit.
Same scene as previous post, but now seen from inside the Hammer++ level editor. The scene is unlit, and there are no fancy post processing effects. The sky is black. and a marker for the center of the level can be sen in the top right.

hey @clayjohn.bsky.social do you wanna explain how "making a broken theme not the default but just an additional theme for now" is unreasonable? seems reasonable that people aren't loading into a broken theme in godot.
Additonally, you've hidden #112229 (comment) for being off-topic, but it has a reasonable request to not set this theme as default until the bugs and other issues are worked out. Is that unreasonable? Yes, it is unreasonable. And off topic

Additionally, where was it decided that this would be the new theme? That comment still hasn't been addressed. I don't think it's wise to barrel forward with a large UI change that most of the userbase won't be aware of until it's out! Hi, can you explain why the inner parts of UI elements are one flat color? Here's images of Input Map. On the left (current) one, you can see that the inner BG is dark, and the dropdown headers are lighter. In the newer one, it's all one flat color. Harder to distinguish.
