The idea of individuals bartering for any period longer than a few years is just false. Community to community? Sure why not. That’s actually the majority of human history. A new currency will emerge, and if it doesn’t we have bigger problems anyways

Sorry to nitpick but I find it interesting. Barter is mostly a response to economic and social crisis & only used for short periods before a new currency emerges. The only exception was during our pre Agri years, and barter was done between communities not individuals. Individuals just gave things

If abolish ice is at 40% democrat voter approval them elevating that message in an effective way would result in that going up. They have previously pushed the opposite opinion.

Dems often validate what republicans find as important and position them as the only important things to fund. This is how they contribute to the ideological production of a radical right wing electorate. It’s part of how we got Trump. Continuing to cede this ground is stupid.
