It always seems a little weird to me when I see grey herons sitting high up in the trees. I mean, they belong in the meadow or in the water, not in the trees 🫣😅.

I walked past a cornfield that had just ended, and out of the corner of my eye I saw this deer and her fawn, startled by an approaching tractor, running toward the cornfield. I just quickly pointed the camera and snapped before they disappeared into the cornfield.

A great example of why a camera is still worth it, even though smartphones can now take really good pictures. The first/left image was taken with my Sony Alpha 6300 and a Sony tele lens, the second/right one with my iPhone 15.
