Hier gibt’s heute ausnahmsweise mal ein Video, weil ich hier nicht X Fotos posten will. Eins noch dazu: Das Nest war noch nicht „tot“ weil es zu kalt wurde, auch an dem Tag, als ich gesehen habe, dass es zerstört wurde, flogen noch lebendige Hornissen herum, es gab noch keinen richtigen Frost. 1/2

It always seems a little weird to me when I see grey herons sitting high up in the trees. I mean, they belong in the meadow or in the water, not in the trees 🫣😅.

I walked past a cornfield that had just ended, and out of the corner of my eye I saw this deer and her fawn, startled by an approaching tractor, running toward the cornfield. I just quickly pointed the camera and snapped before they disappeared into the cornfield.

Drei Igelbabys hab ich heute Vormittag abgeholt.
Die Mutter wurde kurz zuvor mit dem Rasenmäher zerstückelt.
Ohne Worte.
Wenigstens wurde der Nachwuchs nicht zum Sterben liegen gelassen wie es in unserer Region manch andere handhaben. Menschen im Mittelalter am Fuße der Rhön. 🙄
Die Mutter wurde kurz zuvor mit dem Rasenmäher zerstückelt.

These two are feeling super hot 🥵, and since birds can’t sweat like we do, they open their beaks to cool down 🌡️. But it’s kind of their own fault in this case – there was plenty of shade around 🌳. They flew off again pretty soon after 😅.

Den beiden hier ist super heiß 🥵, und weil Vögel nicht wie wir schwitzen können, öffnen sie ihre Schnäbel um ihre Körpertemperatur zu senken 🌡️ . Sie sind aber auch bisschen selbst schuld, es wäre hier genug Schatten verfügbar 🌳. Sind auch recht bald weitergeflogen 😅.
