Saw this. I felt it dragged slightly but maybe that was just I was irritated by the pleather seats in the cinema and wanted to stand up. I found the ending unsatisfying - both too good and too bleak. Non plotwise I thought it was very well shot and acted and the credit design was very beautiful.

Having recently seen Blackmail and several other early Hitchcock movies I saw this. If you can get over the narrator having a very annoying voice and frankly poor diction it makes some interesting points by showing parallel clips of different movies but it's quite My First Film Studies Project.
