I've got a 1554 Cruijdeboeck, a 1583 copy of Stirpium Historiae Pemptades Sex and a 1644 edition Cruydt-Boeck by Rembert Dodoens/Remberti Dodonaei. All published by Plantin. The motto in all books is "Labore et constantia". So that seems quite consistent.
