What it comes down to for a lot of people is simply that they want to be someone who has hundreds of thousands of followers, and once they leave Twitter, they’re no longer that person.

Silly masses. The guy who posted it on reddit was talking about the "I only buy 4K" crowd and he mentioned he had just bought 100 films to watch and enjoy for less than the cost of one 4K. Art before format.

Actually the show was sold to Penske and Dick Clark Productions a few years ago. The Hollywood Foreign Press no longer runs it.
