What it comes down to for a lot of people is simply that they want to be someone who has hundreds of thousands of followers, and once they leave Twitter, they’re no longer that person.

I used to pay a lot of attention to awards season. Attended the Oscars for 10 years, SAG for about the same. This year's Golden Globes are awful. I didn't watch live so I could watch the Raptors 🏀 and find myself annoyed by this show. Who thought the endless announcer banter was a good idea?
