Fellas, is it problematic to bring food to share to a public meeting? #a2Council.
Screenshot of text reading:

Old Fourth Ward resident Jeff Crockett, a critic of the city’s density plan, spoke out, taking issue with a group of mostly pro-density residents under the banner of “Neighbors for More Neighbors” once again gathering ahead of the meeting and sharing snacks like they’ve done at previous meetings.
“I’m very disturbed about the provision of food,” Crockett told commissioners, noting he also sent them an email about it and suggested the city attorney should investigate the legality of it and consider a city policy on it.
“For you to accept this food is a problem,” he said, saying the optics of it are terrible. “What would happen if two or three groups came and filled this with food? How would you deal with that? Would you say yes to one group and no to another?”

Historically, the Insurrection Act has only been used in response to genuine emergencies. Some experts believe that if President Trump invokes the Insurrection Act simply as a pretext for a military invasion and occupation of multiple blue cities, it would represent a possible violation of norms.
