2a. Freeze pesto in muffin pans, then store in freezer bags
3. Use frozen pesto to make creamy pesto pasta
4. Enjoy the taste of summer in February

I appear to be successful at over wintering my one living jalapeño plant. I have been keeping it in my shed to keep it in a place that stays above freezing but isn't so warm that it explodes in growth. I took it out for a few hours to water it today.

Some of my homegrown jalapeños that I sliced up to put on my tacos for dinner tonight. Only used up about ⅓ of them, the rest will be cooked in some scrambled eggs tomorrow.
