It's not about politics, it's about simple human decency. And that treasonous orange sack of shit has none. I'll dance for joy on the day we finally hear that he's dead and rotting in the ground. Signal: @midnightstation.64

Remember to stay positive in these trying times. 😎
Daily Meditation for Positive Thinking:

My favorite thing about Donald Trump is that he's so much older than me. So with a little luck, I'll still be able to dance and rejoice on the day we finally get the news that he's dead and rotting in the ground.

And I will make a special trip to wherever they bury that useless piece of shit just to spit on his grave. I assume there will be a long line.

That's fine. I'll wait.

🚨There goes the last of Governor Pritzker’s fucks. 🪦
He took that threat of being arrested to heart… and the people of Chicago are marching in the streets because the Chicago mayor and their governor have their backs. ✊🏼

Neither does he, or anyone else in that illegal regime, and that's what makes them so dangerous.

They are terrorists, by any definition. And they know they will be treated as such if they don't remain in power.

This won't be settled with ballots. Not a chance.

A plainclothes officer sucker punches and violently arrests a man after he points out that another officer is deliberately stepping on a woman’s shoes while she is carrying her child.

My only advice to people is put cameras around every corner of your home, buy guns while it's still legal, buy gas mask, drinking straws, and solar radio... Other than that food, Staples, you can live on for months, even if it's a huge bag of rice. Be prepared if this all goes south, I feel prepared

🚨 This is protecting the American people. “Full force” is not defined by the military. More of this!

Gavin Newsom: “What more evidence of authoritarianism do you need? These guys aren’t screwing around. We can no longer screw around. It’s all at stake. People need to wake up. We can’t continue to play by the old set of rules.“

Still, We Shopped

Still, We Shopped
(a satire inspired by Maya Angelou's "Still I Rise")
You may gaslight truth with slogans,
You may sell our souls half-off,
You may cage the tired and hungry—
But still, we shopped.
You may round up all the mothers,
Zip-tie children on the spot,
Post a sale on patriotic sweaters—
Still, we shopped.
Did you think we'd take to marching?
Risk our ratings? Miss our shows?
When justice costs attention—
We'd rather scroll through clothes.
Just like billionaires ascending,
Past the crowds they've overcropped,
We waved from mall balconies, smiling —
Still, we shopped.
We watched the poets vanish,
We watched the preachers stopped,
But the Wi-Fi stayed connected-
So still, we shopped.
We shared our "thoughts and prayers" posts,
Then went back to Amazon carts.
It's amazing how the conscience clears
With free returns and credit parts.
The air grew thick with screaming,
The news too bleak to top—
So we switched to comfort cooking,
And, yes-still, we shopped.
And when the knock came sudden,
And the sirens did not stop,
We whispered, "Surely someone's coming."
But no one came—
They'd gone to shop.

What will it take for regular people to understand that if they refuse to stand up against fascism they will not be spared? Fascism is a serial killer with no restrictions on who it targets.

It's tempting to treat "the American right is a death cult" as rhetorical hyperbole, but when you look at e.g. their enthusiasm for executing people who are *clearly* innocent, no actually these people really do just worship and revel in death and murder

I have as much sympathy for the plight of ICE agents in LA, Chicago, and Portland as I have for Russian troops in Ukraine.

Getting chased for being brown.

These ICE goons are exploiting this situation to create video content.

That's just disgusting.
