To make matters worse; I had a half-finished backup script laying around from a few months ago. Probably Sonnet 3.5 or 4 back then.

And it contained the exact same bug that would've led to loss of all data if those backups were ever needed.

I used to live in Aberdeen, on the campus. Every single day, I would see seagulls steal sandwiches, snacks, etc. from the hands of people. It had happened to us and everyone we knew.

Most people there did not find them noble creatures.
