You define any details of their new identity and false memories, and the target will fill in the rest. This new life is often sexually perverse or corrupted in some way. Afterwards, any person or object that does not play along and contradicts the target’s new perception of themselves will cause them stress and denial, and potentially traumatically undo this bad-end with repeat exposure. The target must attempt a Will saving throw against the ritual’s casting DC. The target has a negative circumstance bonus equal to the number of times this ritual has been attempted on them, regardless of outcome. Critical Success As success, but the casting time is reduced to one day. Success The target assumes a new name, identity, and set of false memories at your instruction. Failure The target resists and the ritual fails, though they remain captured and their resolve is weakened against future attempts to cast this ritual on them. Critical Failure The ritual goes terribly wrong, and the subject escapes. Torn between real and perceived memories, they will become terrified of and obsessed with the casters, stalking and hunting them in a reckless manner that may result in their re-capture.
