I don't have a webcam or smartphone, so I haven't experimented with that.

Our local scene, here, is pretty small. It's there, but it's small. Maaaaaaaaybe there are players hiding somewheres around you?

It's a bit easier for me because I would collect them even if I couldn't play.

For the time being (and honestly, probably for a while after Alysium's release) there is the DCGO-fan-made application. If nothing else, that will get you some practice and you'll get to play the game.

As for physical cards online, I know people have played webcam over discord.
