More parking? That’s crazy California shit!

I’d love to see some streetcars like in New Orleans. Make the ride as fun an adventure as the destination.

I was there for the early days of Fridays After 5. Good times.

MLB by far has the best app experience. Instant game replays, condensed games, key moments, great in-game UI (like bookmarking innings on the scrub bar), multiple audio commentary sources.

The blackout rules need to go. Total dealbreaker unless you play fantasy baseball.

Patent reform could help.

“Critics argue these patenting practices are used to keep drug prices high, w/o significant benefits for consumers or innovation. Such practices include patent evergreening, product hopping, patent thickets, & pay-for-delay settlements.”

Evolution of battery tech is gonna drive success long term. They need to be lighter, cheaper, and less resource intensive (although current tech is waaaay less resource intensive than fossil fuels).

Supply chain uncertainty with rare earths in China is a wildcard too.

When I was taking the Foreign Service orals during the Cold War under HW, a couple of FSOs in the interview asked me which acts I would book for a cultural exchange concert in Moscow.
